1:cpu dell高频噪音解决方案

由dell工程师处获得,我原来在论坛求助过新1520的高频音解决方案,后来终于找到了.希望对大家有用.
解压附件,按doc文档操作.
注意1:解决由于cpu引起的不明高频音,吱吱的\频率很高那种.不解决硬盘音.
注意2:
该软件使用电源选项卡的時候, cpu使用率会一直100%, 但是不影响性能(其实是拉上去的,对性能无影响),
另外点击频率, 会出來"maximal performance"
和"performance of demand"
通过这两项可以快捷的设定cpu的频率.
又及:其实就是使用RM Clock

在Feature tool的下載處有三種下載選擇,
1.Download Windows diskette creator (1803 KB)-->下載移到軟碟機上,並使用軟碟開機
2.Download binary diskette image (non-Windows systems)-->給二位元磁片使用,非windows系統
3.Download a CD image (2,634KB)-->cd映像檔,下載後燒錄成可開機光碟使用

一般來說,nb的使用者可選用cd映像檔,下載後燒錄成光碟,以此片光碟開機即可進入Feature Tool使用畫面!

功能說明:
進入後會先掃描所有的IDE或SATA的通道,完成後會進入下圖的介面,
DOS的老玩家應該會覺得很熟悉,此軟體支援滑鼠,可以用滑鼠點上面的功能表,或是用鍵盤切換,
只要按著ALT再按該功能文字中顏色不一樣的字母即可,如 ALT+F 即切換到Features功能表

Drive:  可以選擇不同的磁碟機來調整
Features:  本次介紹重點,可調整硬碟的設定,共有8項
1.Change Acoustic Level: 改變音響等級
2.Change Advanced Power Mode: 改變進階電源模式
3.Change Cache Settings: 改變快取的設定
4.Change Capacity: 改變容量
5.Change S.M.A.R.T. Operations: S.M.A.R.T.的開關
6.Change Ultra DMA Mode: 改變ultra DMA的模式
7.Show Drive Temperature: 顯示磁碟機的溫度
8.Change SATA settings: 改變SATA的設定

Change Acoustic Level
1.disable: 關閉,關閉時為一般模式(254)
2.Enable(Recommended value): 建議值,預設為靜音模式(128)
3.Enable(User defined value): 使用者自行調整值,可用滑鼠或是方向鍵調整下方的橫槓,
                                        最左邊為靜音模式(128),最右邊為一般模式(254)
4.下方有個Test:可預先測試改變後產生結果,調整後觀察搜尋LBA(Seeking to LBA)的速度來找到一個自己滿意的值

Change Advanced Power Mode
1. 0x80efault value (預設值128)
2. 0x01-0x7F:The selected APM is standby (APM為待命)
3. 0x80-0xBF:The selected APM is low Power idle (低電量閒置)
4. 0xC0-0xFE:The selected APM is active idle (動態閒置)
目前的1.96版與下圖的選項不一樣,以上文為最新;拉動橫槓可以改變設定值,或是用下方的Options可以有三個值可以選:預設,最小,最大值,往左邊是轉速越低,可延長電池使用時間,往右轉速越高來提高效能,這功能也可以用Power Booster2K來代替,在上面提供的下載頁面可以看到,低轉速閒置也可以減少噪音

2.Enable Read Look-Ahead cache
預設多為開啟,開啟可增加效能,而一些2.5"的機種就算改變設定,斷電重開後還是會跳回預設值

1. Save permanently: 永久改變,斷電後不會消失,但是還是可以用此軟體改變
2. Do not save: 斷電後設定即消失
此功能為應應某些主機板沒有支援大容量硬碟,可以更改容量另主機板可以讀取該硬碟,在New capacity處消除原有值,鍵入數字即可以變更,下方的Options有最大容量,128GB,32GB,8GB可以選擇

變更ultra DMA的模式,依硬碟不同有不同程度的支援,最高到mode 6 即ATA 133,如果自身的硬碟只支援到mode 4就不會出現mode 5和mode 6的選項

可以顯示硬機目前的溫度,下方的Test可以測試硬碟在搜尋LBA時的溫度

Change SATA settings
如果為SATA硬碟才可以更改此處的設定
1.Max Transfer Speed: 最大傳輸速度,1.5GB/s或是 3.0GB/s
2.Spread Spectrum Clocking: 展頻時脈開關
注意!!如果在系統不支援3GB/s或S.S.C.下啟用這兩個選項,會讓該硬碟無法在該系統上使用!
最大傳輸速度要看系統支援與否,一般來說開啟S.S.C.效能會稍下降,依個人喜好開關;修改後需要重新開機才會生效
